Event: Athens-Acropolis & Plaka
Meet: Please exit at the gate where the cruise ship docks. We will be met at the gate (just after customs area) by the tour operator holding a sign that says "AUGUSTINE". - Monday, June 7th - 8 AM Sharp until about 4 PM - Port Day Athens
Organized by: Lesley Augustine (a beach is paradise)
About the event: - Full Day(8hrs) Athens Tour. Private tour with English speaking driver, but no tour guide. Includes a visit to: The Acropolis-Parthenon Site, The Old palace, The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament and the Changing of The Guards, The Temple of Zeus, The Old Olympic stadium (the original stadium built in the 1863 for the first modern Olympic games in 1896), The Hill of Lycabettous with the best city view. Then visit the site of Ancient Agora etc.
Finally the Plaka(old town) where you will spend time for shopping and lunch.
The entrance fees per person are: 12 euro in total(not for Museums) for the archaeological sites in Athens (Acropolis Site, Greek Agora, Theatre of Dionysos, Kerameikos, Temple of Zeus, Roman Agora, Tower of Winds etc).
For Children under the age of eighteen is free.
The prices for a full day tour are:
1-4 persons: 400 euro
5-7 persons: 450 euro
12 persons: 550 euro
