About:	We are addicted to cruising! First cruise was in November 2007 with friends from church Cathy and Steve who will also be on this cruise with us!! Dennis is self-employed and I work for the federal court as a contractor in D.C. (but I get to stay home!) We have two adult children and one 3 year old grandson who is the light of our lives. Our son lives in Boston and goes to BU so this trip is going to be a great one! Can't wait to meet all of you!!

About:	Scott and I were childhood sweethearts in San Antonio, Texas. We had our first date when I was 14 and he was 16. We dated in high school and then I followed Scott to Texas A&M University in ’73 and we were married in ’74. We moved to Houston in ’75 and have been here ever since. We live in Jersey Village which is an incorporated city northwest of the Houston city limits. It’s like living in a small town with our church two blocks away and wonderful neighbors and our police and fire departments two blocks away. Scott is a Project Manager in the construction industry building commercial buildings. The industry had been really hit hard these days in Houston and we hope Scott is still employed in the months ahead so that we can afford our bucket list of “places to see”. But we will continue to have faith that things will turn around. I work for Apache Corporation in the Crude Oil Marketing department as a Marketing Analyst. I have recently survived a 2 ½ year project implementing a new marketing software package that had never been used for crude oil. I worked 65 hour work weeks for months on end. I didn’t take a vacation for an entire year. But I have been “live” with my product since January 2010 and life has gone back to some form of normal. We hope to retire in the next 4 to 5 years God willing. We have two great children who have made us so proud. Our son, Christian, followed Scott into the construction industry and is a Project Manager for a competing firm. He is married to Karen and they have two children, Ashlyn (6) and Tyler (4). Our daughter, Hollie is a Curriculum Coordinator for Secondary Life Skills for Cy-Fair ISD. Hollie is married to James and they have two daughters, Emma (5) and Lillie (2). Both families live close to us so we have loads of opportunity to enjoy all the grandkid time that we want. Traveling is a passion for us but it didn’t get started until the kids got out of college and we had a little extra cash. We started with an Alaskan cruise in 2002 with an inside cabin at the bottom of the ship. That’s all it took to get hooked and we have now cruised 11 times. We also love to travel on land trips. We have cruised Alaska twice, Europe twice and the Galapagos Islands twice. This trip on the Jewel is also a repeat trip. We always have met wonderful people on our trips but we connected with a group on the Brillance in the Med and this group has become like family. We are so happy to have the chance to reconnect to some of that group on this trip. And we look forward to making new friends. This trip will be here before we know it.

About:	Jim and I retired 5 years ago and love to travel. Cruising is fabulous - but we also love river cruises and have done a few bus tours, too..... not to mention driving trips. In May we spent a few weeks seeing some of the National Parks, and in August/Sept. we were in Scotland and Ireland. Our two sons spent a week with us in Ireland; a wonderful trip! Last year we did the "Around the Horn" cruise. We love meeting new friends and hearing abut their travels! This is our first members cruise, and from all we've heard about them, we're in for a great time!
