About the event:
Karen and I have tailored this tour to better suit our group. Hope everyone likes what we have come up with.
I have been doing some research on Curacao, after checking the Cruise Critics reviews and some other sights I have found Henry “Leo” Plaate/Rent-a-Guide Tours. He offers a complete island tour.
We will visit the downtown area which includes Fort Amsterdam, Otroband, Queen Juliana Bridge, The Floating Market, Punda, the First neighborhood of Scharloo, and most important the Curacao Liqueur Distillery at Chobolobo. We will also visit Knip Beach/Playa Kenepa, Christoffel National Park, (we will drive through a portion of the park), and the Boka Tabla Cave/Shete Boka National Park. Our tour guide will tell us about the history, culture, geography of Curacao along with other valuable information.
We will stop somewhere for food, depending on the timing we may stop and order pizza to take to the Boka Tabla Cave for a pizza party.
The cost of the tour doesn’t include any food, beverage, or entrance fees. The cost will between $50.00 to $55.00 dollars per person depending on how many people we have. If we get 20 people interested in this tour the fees will be included. Payment isn't due until the day of the tour, payment will be in cash.
We are trying to keep this tour to 5 hours so we can have a little time in town before boarding the ship. The tour will leave at 9:00 a.m. and should return between 2:00 or 2:30 p.m.
